Marilyn Shannon is the Co-Founder and National Director of Women's Power Networking and an experienced superior court mediator, trainer, consultant, life coach and speaker. As a speaker Marilyn focuses her talks and workshops on communication, leadership, listening and personal growth. Marilyn has facilitated large and small group meetings and is comfortable in front of any diverse group. An important aspect of Marilyn's presentation style is her warmth and ease. Humor and emotion is often present and participants will leave Marilyn's presentations with a personal experience and life lessons. Marilyn's involvement in many mediation programs led to "Dialogue" her private coaching practice where she specializes in working with children, teens, families, individuals and businesses. Prior to mediating and speaking, Marilyn taught special education in the public school system, owned a furniture store, hosted a local Television talk show and, sold advertising. Marilyn holds a degree in Communications and Public Address from Syracuse University and is a wife and mother of 5.
