About Stefan Duncan
He is a native of North Carolina, is a part time writer and full time artist creating murals, commission paintings, landscapes, book illustrations, and inspirational series of exhibits several times a year. He contributes his time and paintings to many charitable organizations throughout the year. Stefan has both an English and Art degree and teaches art classes in the Charlotte and Huntersville areas.
Stefan is the creator of ‘squiggleism’- a branch of impressionism and dubbed the “American Van Gogh” by vangoghgallery.com. He was recently recognized as one of the top ‘Thirty Plein Air’ Artists of America by the Wekiva Island Paint Out, an invitation only with Florida’s state parks, and among one of ‘America’s Best Artist’ by Art Business News magazine. “Grandfather’s Dream”, a book illustrated by Stefan was recently released online: http://www.grandfathersdream.com.
